Fandango’s story starter #14

Fandango shares a story starter teaser every Tuesday morning, and the purpose of the teaser is simply to spark your imagination and to get your storytelling juices flowing.

This week’s Story Starter teaser is:

I heard the music as I entered the room, but all that was there…

Here is my try…

Last night the party was great. I had lots of fun, After a long time everyone was happy, but I noticed sky was not at the place. He was with us but lost somewhere. I went to him and asked, he said nothing serious, thinking about the result. Oh yeah, he went through an interview, and it’s big for him. I told when I am nervous, I love jazz with my drink. You should try sometime. That was our last conversation, then I went to Linda, my old friend. After that I straight ahead to home. This morning my neighbor called me, saying sky is not opening the door, he had pizza on the door, and the delivery boy keeps calling, but he is not responding. if you have a spare key, we could use it. I said, yes I have it, and I ran and get the key.

When we opened the door, I heard the music as I entered the room, but all that was there was sky sleeping with jazz and having tons of drink. We waked him up and asked what happened, he said you suggested me jazz with drink, but you never said how much so… All your fault, next time jazz with max two drinks when you are nervous (be specific when you suggest )

Here is mine poem

Hold my hand dad, I am too scared,
This is not the world which you told me,
There is no blue sky, there is no beautiful cloud with the sun,
It’s all white but with the smoke,
There is no bird, no nest.
Dad even there is no tree, they are scary with root and sharp teeth.
That is not the world which you told me,
Dad, where all of those things gone,
Who did to that, why that happened?
Was there any monster ?
Yes my son, there was a greedy monster,
Who wants big building but don’t want mountain,
Who wants development but don’t want trees.
That was me, That was us,
Who did that to world.
Let’s keep moving cross this scary,
We are trying to make a new world for you, will reach there soon,
I took you here, to show my mistake, so you don’t do that.

Thanks Fandango for inspiration.
